Gosh. I don't know where to start!

Anyway, just got back a few days ago from our quick trip to the province. Nothing much happened. We just helped dad set-up and decorate our resto there for Halloween. Then spent All Saints Day at our memorial park. Just kinda like what happened last year. Wasn't able to relax really because I was worrying about AFA stuff. I had to draw and do measurements for my other props so we could execute it faster as soon as we got home.

Just in case you are wondering... For these shots, I used my Canon 450D equipped with a Canon 10-22mm lens (Ultra-Wide Angle). :]

At night, you can see all the stars. No smoke or smog. The sky is very clear.

Sometimes, fireflies appear at night too. They say that it is a sign of clean air.

Me, Ramon Bautista and Ashley *orangeish. Ramon is a famous comedian here in our country. Funny, we've known each other way back because of common friends but we never got meet each other in person. Not until this trip to Singapore. Hahaha!

Much thanks to Ms. Regine Tolentino / Regine's Boutique for the lovely dresses we wore during the awards night! The beadwork is simply amazing! ^__^ Actually, her boutique is one of the few trusted seamstresses we've been working with for the past 6 years on our cosplay outfits.

This has been one of the best set of dishes I've ever tasted in my whole life. No kidding! I enjoyed it so much that I completely forgot that I was on diet. Hohoho!


While everyone was enjoying dinner, the program resumed. They started awarding the best blogs.

Electrico! I fell in love with one of their songs. I just forgot the title of the one I liked. Darn... But all the songs they played were amazing.

After awarding all the winners, all the nominees and winners gathered up on stage for a photo op. I think everyone in the hall had cameras. Just look at the chairs. They are pretty much empty. LOL


Gotta love her gloves! And that little tophat at the bottom!


Thank you to the two ladies in front for looking directly at my camera even if I'm just one of the many photographers who bombarded them endlessly with flashes. :3

Official Announcement

The competition is nearing and I'm getting more stressed every passing day. Excitement, nervousness, panic and all other feelings mixed together resulting in paranoia. Just kidding! But I somehow can't work on other things normally - like toy photography, dusting off my figures, just taking pictures of lovely areas around town or plainly hanging out. Most of my time now is dedicated to our presentation - props and skit. *cries*

Anyhow, we are now back from the province so we can focus more on what we still need for the competition. For the past few days, Bram ~thebrambear has been helping me with one of our cosplay props. It isn't done yet but we are getting there. This is the first time I've used Greco 888 and I am so fascinated with it and how it bonds craft foam so easily. But at some point I kinda got a lot of the cyanoacrylate compound on my fingers and it stuck my thumb and ring finger together. No, it's not funny. Seriously. I thought I wouldn't be able to get it off until the next day. But, thank God, it did after I had it under running water for a couple of minutes.

Now, I am pretty much okay with having much of it on my hands. At least it is better than being sliced up or drilled - which has kinda happened to me by accident a couple of times before. Hohoho! Clumsiness, a personal trait I have come to accept and acknowledge since I was little.

If you are looking for progress photos, I'd like to apologize. We cannot upload them for now because as usual we want it to be a surprise! Hihihi! But we will have it up eventually. Maybe a few days before the competition. That is if we are still sane by then. *tears out hair out of stress and panic* *sob*
